Work that connects people, ideas & purpose.

I’ve always said the only plan you can count on is that life won’t go as planned. Mine certainly didn’t, but each step along the way led me here.

I earned a degree in Childhood Education, taught second grade for a couple of years, spent more than a decade in event planning, and eventually opened a natural foods grocery and deli, which I owned and operated for nine years. Along the way, I became deeply involved in my local business community through Chamber work, including serving on the board of my hometown Chamber of Commerce and later working as the Marketing & Communications Manager for our county Chamber.

Web design entered the picture in the mix of it all. A nonprofit I was working with needed a new website, so I taught myself Squarespace and discovered how much I loved the combination of creativity, organization, problem solving, and shaping how a business shows up. What started with one website quickly grew into more.

All of my experiences have shaped the way I work today. And while websites are at the center of what I do, I’ve realized that the part I enjoy most is often the connecting: bringing together ideas, people, resources, design, and direction to help make things happen.

How I Work

I’m intuitive, creative, and very detail-oriented. I like asking questions, connecting the dots, and figuring out how all the pieces fit together. My goal is always to make the process feel clear and collaborative while creating something that truly reflects the business or organization behind it.

Why This Works Matters to Me

Small businesses and nonprofits have been at the center of my work for many years, and I know how much effort goes into keeping them going. I love being able to use what I do to support my community and help people reach their goals.

They’ve written a lot of songs about me!

Nana… pronounced Nah-nah. It’s a unique name, so I’ve learned to have a little fun helping people remember it. Fortunately, I have a whole playlist to back me up.

Why Squarespace

I’ve worked with Squarespace for almost ten years because it strikes the right balance between strong design, functionality, and easy to use. It gives me the flexibility to create a custom website while still giving my clients a platform they can comfortably manage after launch.

Squarespace also brings the essentials together in one place, including hosting, built-in SEO tools, analytics, scheduling and commerce options, and reliable support. It’s a practical, all-in-one platform that’s easy to manage and flexible enough to meet your needs as they change.
